Where timeless Riviera allure meets Beverly Hills sophistication, Azur invites guests to indulge in the effortless elegance of the French-Mediterranean lifestyle. Nestled in the city’s golden heart, Azur captures the beauty of sun-drenched terraces, leisurely afternoons, and candlelit soirées — transporting guests to the Côte d’Azur without ever leaving Los Angeles.
Blending coastal charm with modern luxury, Azur is more than a restaurant and lounge — it’s a destination that celebrates art, culture, and the joy of refined living. Each visit offers a taste of that unmistakable joie de vivre that makes the French Riviera a state of mind.
More than a restaurant, Azur is an immersion into the Riviera rhythm — a place where dining, music, and style flow together seamlessly. Inspired by long summer nights in Saint-Tropez and Cannes, Azur evokes the sensory pleasures of Provence: the aroma of olive oil and grilled seafood, bright herbs, warm candlelight, and music that drifts through the evening air. Guests move effortlessly from an elegant dinner to vibrant after-hours festivities with live performances, curated DJ sets, and artists from around the globe, bringing the French Riviera’s nightlife spirit to Beverly Hills.
During a recent weekend visit in celebration of my good friend Eve Richard’s birthday, Eve, Callie Deets and I were serenaded by Moroccan artist Hicham Touhani, followed by the pulse of DJ Ara’s Mediterranean-inspired beats — turning the room into a lively coastal soirée. Weekends at Azur are when the energy peaks, and the space transforms into a lounge reminiscent of Saint-Barth or Monaco, complete with music, dancing, and champagne toasts inside in the dining and bar area, and under the stars on its outdoor patio.
Azur blends its chic atmosphere with a bespoke playlist echoing the rhythms of the South of France, evoking the allure of the Côte d’Azur.

Under the direction of Executive Chef Stanley Suchy and menu creation by renowned French Chef Éric Cuenin, Azur celebrates fire, freshness, and flavor. Each dish honors the “Cuisine du Soleil,” highlighting seasonal coastal ingredients meant for sharing.
Daily specials included Loup de Mer for two, and a 40 oz Porterhouse Steak. My guests and I enjoyed a number of standout dishes, including, Burrata et Tomates – creamy burrata with tomato tartare, pistachio, and aged balsamic; Spaghettini au Homard – poached lobster enveloped in velvety lobster bisque; and Pavé de Saumon Grillé – crisp-skin salmon with saffron-scented fennel and blood orange sauce.
Desserts are pure decadence, from the Tarte Tropézienne, sugar-dusted brioche filled with orange blossom diplomat cream, to Profiteroles finished tableside with warm dark Altara chocolate.
Azure’s beverage program celebrates the glamour of French viniculture and Riviera mixology. Its extensive French wine list features distinguished selections from Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Provence — chosen by Azur’s in-house sommelier to pair perfectly with Mediterranean flavors. Expect rare vintages from Château Minuty, Domaine Ott, and Chablis Premier Cru, along with sparkling classics from Veuve Clicquot and Perrier-Jouët.
Complementing the wine list are Azur’s signature cocktails and mocktails — artistic blends that feel straight out of a Saint-Tropez bar scene. Highlights include the Le BarDot (Veuve Clicquot Champagne, Chambord, and Hendricks), and the Citricure, a refreshing citrus creation with ginger beer and mint.
“I had the opportunity to celebrate a post-birthday evening with Nicole Muj and Callie Deets, who took me to Azur Beverly Hills. It felt as though we were transported to the South of France, or somewhere along the Mediterranean, with an atmosphere that was both effortless and refined,” comments Richards. “From the live entertainment to the exceptional food, every detail felt thoughtfully curated. It was truly an incredible experience. I’m grateful to Nicole and Callie for such a beautiful celebration, and to the entire team at Azur for the impeccable service and warm hospitality.”
Set within Beverly Hills’ famed Golden Triangle, Azur’s interiors blend Riviera chic and relaxed luxury. Natural textures, soft lighting, and coastal hues invite guests to linger. A sun-kissed front terrace offers ideal al fresco dining and people-watching on Canon Drive, while the intimate interior dining room provides warmth and elegance. The custom VOID Acoustics sound system adds world-class audio depth, ensuring that Azur’s evenings pulse with sophisticated rhythm.
Brought to life by Erik and Florence Chol, the dynamic duo behind LouLou Santa Monica and the historic Globe Theatre Los Angeles, Azur is a labor of love for hospitality and artistry. Their family philosophy — rooted in authenticity, craftsmanship, and community — guides every detail of the project, creating a space where design, cuisine, and music harmonize effortlessly.
As Florence and Erik explain, “Azur gives people what they don’t yet know they already want — moments that feel effortless, genuine, and unforgettable.”
Since its opening in late March 2026, Azur has redefined Beverly Hills dining as a destination for refined flavor and vibrant entertainment. Whether enjoying an elegant meal or joining weekend festivities, guests are whisked away to the French Riviera — if only for an evening.
Each evening at Azur is a reminder of life’s charm and rhythm, celebrated through fine cuisine, music, and a spirit that bridges the South of France with Southern California.
A bientôt, Azur.
