Celebrate Pulp Fiction’s 30th anniversary with a budget-friendly evening that brings Tarantino’s iconic world right to your living room.

We’ve rounded up some simple, wallet-friendly snacks and drinks inspired by the film’s most memorable moments and characters.

Cue the soundtrack, put on the film, and let the Tarantino-inspired twists begin!

Snacks

Big Kahuna Burger Sliders

Grab mini buns, frozen burger patties, and a can of pineapple rings to channel that classic Big Kahuna vibe. Or, add a slice of cheese and call it a Royale with Cheese!

Either way, keep it simple and let the flavors bring out your inner Vincent Vega.

Pumpkin’s Chips & Yolanda’s Salsa

Stock up on budget-friendly tortilla chips and jarred salsa, and give them a criminally fun twist by naming them after Pumpkin and Honey Bunny, the movie’s unforgettable diner robbers.

Vincent Vega’s Five-Dollar Shakes

Take regular milk and ice cream and whip up your own “five-dollar shakes” throw in a splash of strawberry or chocolate syrup at no extra charge.

Serve with a retro straw for that Jack Rabbit Slim’s vibe!

Mr. Wolf’s Clean-Up Cheese Spread & Spicy Popcorn

Nothing says “problem solver” like Mr. Wolf. Serve up a cheese, cracker, and sausage tray alongside spicy popcorn (just add your favorite spices) for an easy clean-up snack that’s as cool as it is tasty.

Drinks

Mocktails

Create a Pulp Fiction-inspired mocktail by mixing your favorite fruit juices like cranberry, apple, grape, pineapple, or orange.

Serve over ice or blended—easy, affordable, and perfect for any character at your party!

Cocktails with Character

Grab a pre-mixed cocktail or make your own, and give it a name inspired by the film:

Bad Mother Margarita (Jules’s wallet flair)

Jack Rabbit Slim’s Twister (great for a dance-off)

Butch’s Knockout Lemonade

Marsellus’s Mojo

Mia’s Adrenaline Shot (without the needle, of course!)

To complete the experience, put on Pulp Fiction in the background or just your favorite scenes, and challenge guests to a twist contest à la Mia and Vincent.

This party may be budget-friendly, but it’s bound to be an unforgettable tribute!

And just in case you have two left feet like me, how about a movie inspired card game!

Pulp Fiction Card Game Rules

Objective

Complete the most missions by the end of the game to win.

Setup

  1. Use a standard 54-card deck (52 cards + 2 jokers) and five six-sided dice.
  1. Shuffle the deck and deal two cards to each player.
  1. Set the dice aside until they’re needed.

Gameplay

Each Turn:

  1. Draw a Card: Begin your turn by drawing one card from the draw pile.
  1. Choose an Action:

You may attempt a mission if you have the required Character and Item cards.

If you don’t want to attempt a mission, simply end your turn (no discard needed unless your hand exceeds five cards).

  1. Mission Declaration:

If attempting a mission, lay both required mission cards face-up to declare it.

  1. Opponent Interference:

Other players can interfere by playing cards to either postpone your mission attempt for one turn or steal the mission cards.

  1. Mission Attempt:

If there’s no interference, roll all five dice to try to complete the mission.

If you fail, check if you have a card that allows a second roll. If not, place the mission cards in the discard pile.

If you succeed, place the mission cards next to you as a completed mission. Completed missions are removed from play.

Hand Limit

Players can have a maximum of five cards in hand at the end of their turn.

If you end a turn with more than five cards, discard one card face-down into the discard pile.
